NAMAC Regional Meetup

I attended a meeting of regional NAMAC members at 9th Street Independent Film Center. The building is owned by a consortium of film focused groups, like the San Francisco Jewish Film Festival, Frameline (International Lesbian & Gay Film Festival), Center for Asian American Media, among others and managed by the Film Center.

Premiere of "From the Community to the Classroom" a Success!

I attended the worldwide premiere of From the Community To the Classroom, along with a few other hundred Davis citizens. We were treated to a culmination of an amazing project made by some highly motivated producers. While it was exciting to me that all of the equipment, training, and editing was done through Davis Media Access, the true star of the show was the amazing footage and story told. I'd encourage anybody who missed the premiere to catch another community screening, the details of which are listed when you click "read more":
